Can steam achievement manager get you banned

I recently (a month ago) used sam to get rid of all of my tf2 achievements and nothing has happened to me thus far.So far, nobody has got banned for using that program.It's actually a very useful tool.Because there is no law againsts this and probably will never be.No, valve doesn't even care about achievements, they got plenty of broken achieves on theyr games.
